Important: Changes to Free Plan

I want to be transparent with you about some upcoming changes. As Quotion's solo developer, I've recently faced challenges with hackers attempting to abuse our free plan with fake emails. Since Quotion is a small, independently-run service, I need to ensure its sustainability while protecting our genuine users.

Effective December 1st, 2024, our free plan will include:

  • Up to 5 notes (reduced from 50)
  • Up to 10 static assets - images, audios, videos, PDFs, etc. (reduced from unlimited)

I understand this change may impact some users, which is why I'm offering our Black Friday discount to make the transition easier for those who need more resources.

Black Friday Offer

Upgrade now and get 30% off for 12 months with code: BLACKFRIDAY2024 (Apply to Lite/Pro/Enterprise plans)

  • Lite plan: Just $6.3 / month (regular $9/month)
  • No Quotion branding on your site
  • Unlimited notes and static assets

This offer is available until December 30th, 2024, so please take advantage of it while you can.

New Features & Improvements

1. Dual Action Buttons

The image showcases a blog post titled 'From Concept to Code: The Journey of Product Development with Our SaaS Dream Team' on the Acme website. The blog post features a woman in the main image, setting a professional and modern tone. The overall mood is informative and engaging, with a focus on design and product development.

Give your visitors clear next steps with feature: dual action buttons on site header. Whether you want them to "Get in touch" and "Follow me" or "View portfolio" and "Get app" - you're now in control.

Go to Dashboard -> Site Design -> All tab -> Action buttons and add any links or emails you want.

2. Font Size

The image showcases a website design interface with a focus on the 'Design All' section, allowing users to customize the theme, typography, and colors. The website displays a blog post titled 'From Concept to Code: The Journey of Product Development with Our SaaS Dream Team' on a dark theme. The overall mood is professional and modern, with a clean and user-friendly interface.

You can now change the font size of your site. We crafted carefully to make sure every texts, icons, and buttons work greats with all font sizes.

3. Like Button

The image showcases a blog post titled 'Developing an Eye for Design - Unleashing Your Creativity' on a website. The main subject is a woman sitting at a desk, likely the author or a featured designer. The overall mood is professional and informative, with a clean and modern design.

You can now let your visitors like your site. It's a great way to let your visitors show their support and engagement.

Go to Dashboard -> Site Design -> Post tab -> Show like button and enable it.

4. Site Minor Improvements

Nested Bullet List

The image showcases a 'Bullet list' with a dark theme, featuring a series of nested bullet points. Each bullet point is labeled with a number and a dash, creating a hierarchical structure. The overall mood is clean and organized, with a focus on presenting information in a clear and concise manner.

Nested bullet lists now have various markers, which align with styles of Apple Notes.

Inline tags

This image showcases a recipe titled 'Ramen s arašídovou pastou' (Ramen with peanut paste), written by Marek Jansa and published on 11/7/2024. The recipe lists ingredients for marinated tofu and the base of the ramen, including items like soy sauce, peanut paste, and coconut milk. The overall mood is clean and organized, with a focus on the ingredients and the recipe's instructions.

Tags are now inline, which makes them more readable. Previously we're extracted tags out from a post and show them at the bottom, which doesn't make sense for scenarios where people use it inline.

5. Dashboard Improvements

Design Editor Resize Handle

The image showcases a website design interface with the title 'Design All' on the left sidebar, allowing users to customize various elements. The main focus is on the 'Acme Blog' section, displaying a blog post titled 'From Concept to Code: The Journey of Product Development with Our SaaS Dream Team.' The overall mood is professional and modern, with a clean layout and a dark theme selected.

Did you notice the resize handle on the design editor? It's now easier to resize the editor as you like.

Product Update Report

The image showcases the 'Account Settings' page of the Quotion platform, with a focus on the 'Danger Zone' section. Within this section, the user is presented with the option to 'Delete Account,' which includes a warning about data deletion and a confirmation step. The interface has a clean, modern design with a clear call to action to delete the account.

You can turn off the monthly product update report (like this one) in the account settings.

Enhanced Analytics Date Filter

The image showcases a website analytics dashboard with a calendar interface for date selection. The user is currently selecting a date range from October 30, 2024, to November 5, 2024, with the 'Last 7 days' option highlighted. The overall mood is clean and modern, with a focus on data visualization and user-friendly design.

We’ve enhanced the experience of filtering dates in analytics to make it smoother and more intuitive.
