Here's a look at the latest features and improvements we've rolled out for Quotion. We aim to send updates for significant changes, but you can always find the latest news on our changelog page.

AI-generated image caption

Automatically generate accurate image captions in your site's primary language using Google Gemini 2.0 and OpenAI GPT-4o. Perfect for enhancing accessibility and user engagement!

Previously, captions were based on image filenames, which often lacked descriptive detail.

The image showcases a webpage titled 'Introducing Webhook API' with a screenshot of the Quotion platform's 'Site Settings' page. The page features options for webhooks and site deletion, with the 'Danger Zone' section highlighting the 'Delete Site' function. The developer tools are open, displaying the HTML code for the page, including the image element with the alt text 'The image showcases the 'Site Settings' page within the Quotion platform.'

Use accessibility tools like Hover Text(MacOS) to verify generated detailed captions.

Go to Dashboard -> Site -> Design -> Post -> enable "AI-generated image caption".

Webhook API

Integrate Quotion seamlessly with your favorite tools using our new Webhook API. Get real-time notifications for content updates and connect with your existing systems without managing complex infrastructure.

The image showcases the 'Site Settings' page within the Quotion platform, specifically highlighting the 'Webhook' and 'Danger Zone' sections. The 'Webhook' section allows users to configure a URL and HTTP headers for receiving note events, while the 'Danger Zone' provides the option to delete the site. The overall mood is functional and informative, with a clean interface and a focus on user control.

Go to Dashboard -> Site -> Site Settings -> Webhook, type in the webhook URL and save.

Read the docs for more details like prerequisites, payload properties and retry policy.

Design OpenGraph image

This image showcases a design interface for creating Open Graph images, with a focus on previewing posts for platforms like X/Twitter and LinkedIn. The interface allows users to customize the background image, text color, and alignment, as well as add a logo. The preview displays a post titled 'Our top 10 JavaScript frameworks to use' with the Acme logo and author information.

Introducing customizable OpenGraph images for enhanced social media sharing. You can now fully control how your content appears when shared across platforms with the following options:

  • ✅ Customize background imagery
  • ✅ Adjust text colors
  • ✅ Configure text alignment
  • ✅ Toggle logo and author visibility

Go to Dashboard -> Site -> Design -> OG, try it yourself, it's free.

New default background image for posts

This image showcases a blog layout with several articles related to React.js. The titles include 'The Philosophy of React.js,' 'Why Vite is Better than Webpack?,' and 'Vitest for React.js,' among others. The overall mood is modern and tech-focused, with abstract, geometric visuals accompanying each article.

Introducing a refreshed collection of stylish, modern default background images for your site, replacing the previous gradient images.

We provide distinct background images for Modern (light) and Darcula (dark) themes to enhance your site's appeal.

If you're using the stale gradient background image URLs in other places, feel free to download them, as we're going to delete them soon.

Public roadmap

This is a roadmap interface for the 'Quotion' platform, showcasing various feature requests and their statuses. The interface is organized into columns like 'Backlog,' 'Next up,' 'In Progress,' and 'Done,' with each card representing a specific feature request. The overall mood is clean and organized, with a focus on project management and progress tracking.

Share your feedback, ideas, or bug reports, and see what's next on our new public roadmap. The roadmap and feedback links are also available in the dashboard menu.
